Canadian fibreglass boatbuilder grows dealer network as North American economy recovers.
Kelowna, Canada-based Campion Marine has announced 14 new dealers to its global distribution network – 11 in Canada and three in the United States.
New dealers in Canada include Adventure Motors, New Glasgow NS; Baysville Marina, Baysville, ON; Boatland RV Marine, Orono, ON; Laurentian Marine Sales, Gloucester, ON; Marina Sabrevois, Sainte-Anne-de-Sabrevois, QC; Rapid Power Sports, Corner Brook NF; Shawinigan Marine, Saint-Gerard-Des-Laurentides, QC; Windsor Motorsports, Grand Prairie AB; Silvester RV Centre, North Battleford SK; Okanagan Recreational Rentals, Vernon BC; OJ’s Leisure and Marine, Wainwright AB; and Moose Jaw RV and Marine, Moose Jaw SK. US dealers include Mid Maine Marine, Oakland ME; Ward’s Boat Shop, Center Ossipee NH; and Waypoint Marine, Seattle WA.
“We’re very pleased to welcome all of these dealers to the Campion family,” said Campion Marine president, Brock Elliott. “As economies in North America continue to rebound we are fortunate enough to be able to work with an outstanding group of dealers for our Campion and Reinell product lines.”
Business has been growing steadily for Canada’s largest fibreglass boat manufacturer, which has bucked NMMA trends by posting double-digit growth over the past two years. Elliott attributes the company’s success to a “can-do” approach to working with its dealers and retail customers, and on having a diverse product mix. “Having the ability to offer dealers a range of performance boats, sport cruisers, fishing boats, fish-n-ski models and high-end tow boats is important,” Elliott notes. “Between our Campion and Reinell lines, we can provide a dealer with one-stop shopping and make their job that much easier.”
